Introversion or Extroversion which would likely make you more successful in life?
Success in life is essentially the accomplishment of one’s aim or purpose. Could there be a correlation between personality traits and whether one achieves a purpose? Most certainly! Although there are several misconceptions about introverts( those who tend to be more focused on internal thoughts, feelings and moods rather than seeking external stimulation ) an inc.com article.
Again, it is important to point out that success is subjective: because it is widely based on accomplishment as perceived by self or observers. Certain goals or objectives are more easily accomplished by individuals with a type of personality trait. Extroverts are more outgoing, directing attention to things other than themselves and they like to be the center of attention. Introverts are much more thoughtful about actions.
I will say, be what the occasion calls for and let there exist a harmonious balance between introversion and extroversion to achieve objectives. As an example: consider a company seeking to market a product, a group of out-going people are better suited to be handling actual consumer engagement on a one-on-one or one-to-many basis while these out-going people feedback the introverted people who can do the internal work required to place themselves in the consumer’s position, tweaking the marketing messages to be more effective for the marketing effort.
